Application / Registration procedure

The registration to the summer school is a two-step procedure:

The application process (phase 1)
The registration process (phase 2).

During the application phase, applicants are requested to fill in the application form below that is submitted to the Organizing committee. Applicants will be selected upon their research interest, their academic status and, possibly, their publication list (incomplete applications will not be considered). For PhD students and Post-Docs, the name of the scientific supervisor should be provided. In the application form, only invited lecturers give an oral presentation. All other attendees are encouraged to contribute to the poster session. A limited number of posters will be selected to give a contributed talk.

After confirmation of their selection, all applicants have to complete the registration phase. Information such as accompanying person(s), accommodation in Cargèse, personal diet, travel information (from and to the Ajaccio airport) will then be registered.

Registration fees should be paid at the registration phase. An e-mail will be sent to the participants. Invited lecturers do not pay the registration fees.

Registration fees

The registration fees are 950 euros. They include accommodation, on a shared room basis, in Cargèse (from Monday June 23 evening to Friday July 4 morning), lunches at the Institute, coffee breaks, and bus transportation from Ajaccio airport to Cargese (round-trip). The registration fees will be charged regardless of the duration of stay of the participant. Invited lecturers do not pay the registration fees. Housing, for the duration of the course only, will be arranged by the staff of the Institute following, as much as possible, your preferences. Demands for single rooms or accompanying persons can be satisfied upon prior acceptance of the organizers. Extra fare will then have to be paid on site.
